What is needed to rent a house in Italy? If you are in Rome and do not have a home, you must contact the hotline at 800938873 or send a request to emergency.ucraina@comune.roma.it. You can also contact the Prefecture offices in the city you are in, explaining your situation and the need for accommodation in reception facilities. The number of available social or public housing in Italy is very limited, so renting private housing can often become almost the only way to rent housing.
